I checked my site with accessibility testing tools such as WAVE or LIGHTHOUSE and got lots of errors. What could be the reason?
Both WAVE and LIGHTHOUSE are relatively affordable tools for checking your site's accessibility level. These tools know how to check for very basic things such as duplicate links, titles hierarchies, duplicate titles, lack of image descriptions and other similar basic things. It is important to understand, these tools make a lot of mistakes on the one hand, but on the other hand, a large number of errors (5+), can indeed indicate accessibility problems on your site. If you are using one of those tests, and you do receive errors, please, first of all, make sure that you are using accessiBe and it is enabled, since without enabling it, accessiBe does not make the site accessible at all, so as not to affect its performance.
How do I make sure I've enabled accessibility in accessiBe's interface?
Click on the floating icon of accessiBe or Alt+9 and check whether the "Accessible Mode" button is pressed or not. If it is pressed, and there is a relatively large amount of errors in the test software, you may have found a problem and you should contact us for a solution. If the button is not pressed, please click on it, and then run the accessibility check again. The mistakes are likely to disappear.
