FTC Settlement Statement

Our core mission is to make the Internet an accessible and inclusive place for everyone. accessiBe’s new management team is committed to ensuring that this mission is not compromised. Following an FTC review focused on the past period between 2019-2022, accessiBe reached a no-admission settlement with the agency. We strongly disagree with the FTC’s allegations. We believe they are largely based on outdated information and flawed testing methodologies, as indicated by internal reviews and a third- party expert. The FTC’s complaint does not challenge our ability to ensure that our customers' websites are compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the relevant law governing website accessibility. This settlement ensures that we can move forward without a lengthy legal distraction.

We have tens of thousands of satisfied customers and partners for the many businesses seeking to make their websites accessible to all, and accessiBe remains one of the few affordable and workable options for complying with the ADA and enabling a more accessible internet. We strive to create a more inclusive world by leveraging technology to deliver new, robust solutions. Consistent with our commitment to transparency, we continue to take steps to ensure even greater clarity in our marketing materials.
