Tilea has optic nerve hypoplasia that results in low vision. After graduating from the University of Georgia with a degree in Economics, Tilea is completing courses towards medical studies at Georgetown University. She is passionate about business and the healthcare space, and has interned at the American Society for Clinical Oncology in membership development as well as working as a regulatory clinical trials assistant at Georgetown University Hospital.
Tilea is participating in accessiBe’s #WeAreUnstoppable national TV commercial to raise awareness for web accessibility while empowering people with disabilities. The campaign was created with people with disabilities, from writing to producing to editing - people from the community are part of the entire process. From beginning to end, the campaign focused on empowering people with disabilities and aims to open the hearts and minds of business owners about making their websites inclusive.
