We’ve officially arrived in the big apple! That’s right, our Midtown Manhattan offices are open and we’ve already hit the ground running by recruiting some of the best talents in town. We’re excited to expand our mission of making the entire web accessible to people with disabilities by 2025 overseas - and where’s a better place to start that than the original city of dreamers?
We’ve grown rapidly since launching in 2018, with over 100 employees as of now. We are planning to support our growth by doubling our staff by next year, both in NYC and Tel Aviv. This is such a huge milestone for us and we are heavily recruiting people who are committed to making the web accessible and inclusive. (Think you have what it takes? Get in touch!)
Opening our NYC offices will allow us to expand in various directions
From day one, people with disabilities have been an integral part of our efforts from R&D to marketing to educational experiences for our staff. In addition, they hold key positions in the company’s management and contribute to all of our initiatives. As part of our move to the big apple, we plan on doubling the number of people with disabilities on staff and hiring for customer-facing roles such as customer service, customer success, partnership managers, and tech support.
“Since accessiBe launched just over three years ago, we have been rapidly expanding to accommodate the increasing interest in our products and services,” said Shir Ekerling, CEO of accessiBe. “We’re excited by our continued growth and looking forward to bringing on new members to join our exceptional team. A natural extension to our existing commitment is hiring even more talent from the disability community. This is the obvious focus for us in the near future.”
Our NYC offices are also the result of the recent establishment of our new professional services department which we created to meet the increasing demands from our customers for all-encompassing remediation solutions. In addition, there are two new products that are coming out of beta soon - accessFlow, an accessibility testing and remediation platform, and accessCampus, an accessibility online learning and education platform.
It’s been an exciting year with more exciting updates to come
It’s safe to say that it’s been an exciting year for us! Earlier this year we announced the completion of our series A funding round of $28 million. We launched exciting new products such as aCe and accessFind and a brand new dashboard. With another funding announcement around the corner, we are just as committed to raising global awareness towards a more accessible and inclusive internet.
Stay tuned for more exciting updates as we continue to solve the web accessibility gap through advanced technologies, tools, and services to ultimately achieve its vision of making the internet accessible for people with disabilities by 2025!
